Slide n' Dash is a first person shooter set in an endless procedurally generated dungeon.
Slide n' Dash is my submission for the 7 Day rogue-like challenge 2023. It is the spiritual successor to my 7DRL 2022 submission Slide N' Slash.

The base gameplay here- Shootings, movement, are all really, top-quality. It feels like I'm playing Quake or CS:Source. I was disappointed to see the lack of features from the predecessor, notably any sort of "upgrades", but I see that the dev plans to add more after the Jam and I eagerly await to see how this develops! Also, the particle effects are a nice touch, especially the bullet "sparks" that bounce off the map geometry. The enemy models that drop body parts are really above-and-beyond.
Excellent follow-up to Slide N' Slash! I'm definitely looking forward to the after-jam updates. I'd really love a reason to explore each floor more fully -- right now I just go straight to the next floor so I can fight harder enemies.
